Information Required for Reservations
When you make a reservation online or by phone through our team, you will be asked for your name, address, phone number, email address and credit card information. Your credit card information will be used by us to guarantee your reservation.

The highest level of SSL browser encryption is used to ensure that all sensitive data transmissions between parties are encrypted and secured to the highest level possible.

Staff Access to Personal Information
Only authorized employees are permitted to have access to your information and that access is limited by need.

Editing Personal Information
You may edit any personal information that Discovery Lodge holds on you by contacting us via phone, fax, or e-mail. Your information can be updated, corrected or deleted at your request at any time.

Terms

Accommodation Cancellation Policy
If you cancel within 7 days of arrival you can be charged 50% of the total first nights accommodation cost. Within 48 hours you can be charged the full cost of accommodation booked.

Tongariro Crossing Transport Cancellation Policy
We do not charge a cancellation fee if you cancel transport. There is no charge if you travel to the start of the Crossing and then decide not to walk.

Check In and Check Out Times
Normal check in time is after 2pm. The check out time is 10am. If you need to stay longer, please talk to us the day before.

Restaurant
The restaurant is open from 6pm and bookings are required. The Discovery team reserves the right to close the restaurant if demand is low.

Package Deals
If for any reason one part of a package deal is not consumed, full prices will apply to the remaining part or parts of the package deal.
