Callum- many thanks goes to your team (omega, tania, jed, et al) and you to making our stay in Tongariro Nat'l Park one of the best travel experiences for flora and me, certainly the highlight of our entire new zealand trip.

special thanks to you for providing us with so much hospitality. without your support, we might not have attempted the TAC. we very much appreciate you arranging the moving of our bags, the use of one of your rooms to shower & change our clothes--and the sparkling apple drinks. this transition after the hike allowed us to feel better and travel better for the rest of our NZ travels (wellington, queenstown, te anau, milford sound, abel tasman, auckland). having done the TAC, we feel we've really accomplished a nice milestone and are still describing the experience to friends & family.

we've attached a couple of photos here, and separately will send another two, from our visit. in any case, it was a pleasure to meet you and others on your Discovery team. should you plan a U.S. trip in the future that includes New York City or other parts of the Northeast U.S., we'd be happy to give our insight and hopefully be able to meet you during your travels here.
